LOVE STRUCK BEATS

On Valentine’s Day, Asia’s biggest hip hop artists, Joe Flizzow and Sona One kicked off their music workshop, 'Love Struck Beats'. From February 10th – 15th, 2013, 'Love Struck Beats' gave guests the opportunity to write and produce their own rap for their loved one. With focus on beat listening, beat familiarisation, beat selection and lyric inspiration, the final result was a Valentine’s Day gift like no other.

MR HUDSON'S SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE

From Tokyo to Los Angeles; Dublin to Dubai, Mr Hudson has DJ'd all over the world and played for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Formula 1, Adidas and Elton John. On December 16th – 24th, 2012, the impossibly cool Mr Hudson made an exclusive special guest appearance at NIYAMA as part of the resort’s festive season celebrations, playing two acoustic sets at Fahrenheit and one DJ set at Subsix.

SUBSIX LAUNCH

Per AQUUM together with global superstars, Tinie Tempah and DJ Poet launched the world’s first underwater music club, Subsix on October 27th, 2012 and November 2nd 2012, respectively. With two separate performances, two-time BRIT Awards, MOBO Award and the prestigious Ivor Novello Award winner, Tinie Tempah performed for the first time in the Maldives followed by long time Per AQUUM Music Ambassador, two-time GRAMMY® nominated and US Billboard #8 Dance/ Electronic artist, DJ Poet.
